Basic First Aid
This one day course (formerly known as Emergency First Aid) serves as an introduction to First Aid concentrating primarily on CPR skills, controlling bleeding, treating shock and respiratory emergencies.

Intermediate First Aid
Intermediate First Aid (formerly known as Standard First Aid) is the most commonly required training course in the workplace. In addition to CPR, this course offers valuable information and skills to a first aider so that you will be effective until EMS arrives.

Intermediate First Aid Recertification
If your Intermediate (Standard) First Aid certification is not expired you may be eligible to enroll in a 1-day Intermediate First Aid Re-certification course. Along with CPR, this course offers valuable information and skills so that you can be effective in an emergency situation until EMS arrives.

This course is a common requirement for many workers and also provides valuable skills for anyone who may respond to emergencies at home.

Health Care Provider & CPR
The Apex Health Care Provider CPR course is recommended for those who work or study as healthcare providers (ie: Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Chiropractic, Rehabilitation, etc.). Although this course meets all requirements for healthcare providers, it does not serve as a pre-requisite for anyone wishing to enroll in advanced life support courses. It is recognized by regulatory bodies such as ADA, ADHA, ADAA.

The Child Care Basic First Aid course (formerly Emergency) may be useful for anyone who works with children in facilities such as day cares and day homes, however, many jurisdictions require the 2-day Child Care Intermediate First Aid course. This course also provides new parents with vital information on first aid for their children and infants.
In addition to CPR, this Child Care course offers valuable information and skills so that you will be effective until EMS arrives. The program is built on the Apex Basic First Aid course which provides comprehensive CPR training as well as an introduction to first aid topics.

The Babysitting Course is available to youth aged 11-17. The program involves a variety of hands-on activities and training discussions using realistic life-size training dolls. Other important skills include first aid for choking, burns and child safety, to name just a few. After successfully completing the Babysitting Course, participants receive a completion card.
Hey Babysitters: This 7-hour session covers babysitting basics, what to expect of children of different ages and how to handle emergencies – all the information parents will want babysitters to know. We’ll also throw in tons of useful tidbits and suggestions that will make trained youth the most popular babysitter on the block!
First Aid Instructor Training
Apex First Aid Instructor Training offers valuable information and skills to an Apex certified first aider which enables them to be effective in teaching and facilitating their own first aid courses.
